River Crest Wins 2008 HBAM Remodeling
Awards
Joe Duval, President of River Crest Design Build,
Inc. announced today that his company
was presented with both a 2008
Award of Excellence and a 2008 Silver Merit award by the
Home Builders Association of Maryland for remodeling projects
completed by their
company.

River Crest Adopts a Platoon
River Crest has recently become involved with the Adopt-a-Platoon® program,
sponsoring a platoon of 19 men and women in Iraq by sending them
useful and entertaining care packages. We deeply respect the
sacrifices our troops make for all of us, and don’t want
any of them to feel that they’re not remembered back at

Award
The Maryland Improvement Contractor Association
has announced that River Crest Design Build has won its 2007
Remodeler of the Year Award in the category of Outdoor Living.
We’re well aware that our clients’ enjoyment of
their homes does not end indoors and are proud to win an award
for the design and construction of an outdoor living area.
When you live in a beautiful place like Maryland, who wants
to stay indoors all the time anyway?

Joe Duval Nominated as a 2007 Remodeling Innovator
Our founder and president, Joe Duval, was
nominated as a 2007 Remodeling Innovator by Professional Remodeler
magazine and featured
by them in an article. The article mentions our client-satisfaction
report card system, where clients get the opportunity to provide
feedback on their projects at several points during the process.
This ensures that if a client has a problem with the way we’re
working on their project, we find out about it and can act on
it immediately, instead of waiting until the project is done
to see how we did. We know that there are many remodeling companies
out there who are content with unhappy customers, but we will
never be one of them, and we continue to seek new ways and methods
of ensuring that our work is as high-quality as possible.

River Crest Given Two Awards by the Maryland Improvement
Contractor
Association
River Crest is proud to announce that we have received two
awards from the Maryland Improvement Contractor Association
(MICA):
the 2006 Award of Merit for Exterior over $50,000 and the 2006
Remodeler of the Year for Best Bath under $40,000. Our projects
were judged on the basis of their aesthetic appeal, construction
quality, and problem solving, and were found to be among the
best remodeling projects completed in Maryland last year. We’re
very proud to have won these awards and promise to continue
doing the highest quality work we can.
