Sometimes homeowners prefer to work with a specific architect.
Generally, when working with an architect and a separate builder
using the design/bid approach, you lose many of the special benefits
of the Design/Build approach. However, with our RC Hybrid Design/Build
approach, you can select your own architect and have River Crest
involved from the beginning as part of your development team.
This lets us provide you some of the important benefits you get
with the Design/Build process, such as being confident what you
have approved as your final design selection can be built within
your budget, something that the traditional design/bid process
can't provide.
Also, as part of the
development team, we will have a better and deeper understanding
of what you are trying to accomplish,
of your priorities and objectives. Some of these usually don’t
show up in construction plans, but are important to the success
of the project. Additionally, our input early on can sometimes
help the architect learn better and more cost-effective ways
to accomplish the same affect, as our staff knows more about
construction and construction techniques than most architects.
We are very
much aware of new materials and products as well as which ones
work well in the field and which ones don't.
